Don't quit a game of Hearts just because you got the Queen of Spades. (there will always be setbacks. deal with them.)

Pictured to your right is the cover of my book- Nikhadakiera: The Improvisers. You may notice that it shares a name with my blog. Like the starship commander that found himself stranded in an unknown universe and faced with obstacles he never thought existed, I, too, found myself unprepared to face a faceless enemy. In the commander's case, it's a war between worlds. In mine, it's a war against all the forces of high school seeking to drag me down with the rest of the world. Neither of us knows what to do. Both of us will give it all we've got.
